It is rare to see anyone left in the cinema at the end of the credits rolling. Occasionally movie fans will be rewarded with an after-credits scene which is often funny or provides teaser for an impending sequel. More often than not there is nothing but the credits themselves. It's a slow scrolling list of hundreds, possibly thousands, of people involved in all aspects of the film's production.
There are lists of unit production managers, stunt co-ordinators, boom directors, video playback advisers, sound mixers, gaffers, the strange sounding 'best boys', wardrobe production assistants, caterers and even parking co-ordinators - all of them rolling to an empty cinema.
Requiem is a video work of nothing but endless end credits accompanied by their melancholic soundtracks that seem to invariably play them out.
